I wouldn’t say Bob Dole lost in a landslide, inasmuch as Bill Clinton got less than 50% of the popular vote.

Always worth noting: in 1988 Michael Dukakis lost to George Bush Sr. with 44% of the popular vote.

In 1992 Clinton won with a plurality of 43% of the popular vote, thanks to Ross Perot.
