I never heard of SOS before going to MCRD San Diego, but I fell in love with the stuff once I tasted it for the first time.

And creamed foreskins on toast. SOS not so much. The Army and Navy have two entirely different versions of SOS Navy version was red. I served in both and the fact is the Navy used to eat way better than the Army, no clue how they eat now because I left the Navy in 1965.
