Trump made history, becaming the first American president to step foot into North Korea, despite decades of conflict between the two nations.Trump initiated the meeting at the demilitarized zone (DMZ) between North Korea and South Korea, first publicly calling for the meeting on Twitter before North Korea moved quickly to make the meeting happen.

Mr. Trump is amazing and incredibly brave.

Fox & Friends just interviewed Tucker Carlson. Tucker was on scene at DMZ when POTUS met Kim. Tucker stated he was just a few feet away from the two of them, during their meeting.

Tucker said the Secret Service got into a brief shouting match with the NK security staff. He said: Nork Security "outnumbered our SS team 4 to 1, and were armed."

Sounds terrifying - I would like to hear more about this encounter. I hope that Dan Bongino explores what happened on his next podcast since he knows SS people.

The new WH Press Secretary was there at the time and she suffered bruising while trying to clear a path for American reporters to have access to the event.

Did the Norks complain about “hand-held atomic weapons?”

No but the Left complained that Trump sucked at diplomacy and was “doing it all wrong”

The media and photographers were out of control. How many pictures do we need of the same event?

More of Trump coddling up to dictators - on the heels of last week's love-fest with Putin, no less...

Donald Trump is a tireless worker for peace in the world, breaking down barriers, a better tomorrow for everyone. While doing this, he puts America First. I don’t think anybody saw this side of him during the campaign. Today, looking back, it makes sense. He repeatedly said he wanted to make friends with world leaders and develop win-win relations with them. These remarks were twisted by the media into something sinister. If the media had any decency at all, they would apologize for what they did.

Completely agree. And remember, Grisham was injured trying to help the media get coverage. They will turn on her in a heartbeat shortly when they don't get what they want. I promise.

Every liberal I know is minimizing and mocking orange man (who is bad) over this. Their hero president did not do this, nor could he give a speech to third graders without a teleprompter

President Trump went a lot further into North Korea than I did when I visited the DMZ. Tourists at the DMZ can go into a conference building and step over the border there.

One thing about the DMZ is that it is considered dangerous. You have to sign a waiver before the visit to Panmunjom, and no children are allowed. The North Koreans have been known to attack at the DMZ, and the South Korean guards take up positions to reduce the amount of their body that is visible to their North Korean counterparts. They also wear sunglasses to look more imposing.

Their was a chart of North Korean attacks in the auditorium where we received our awareness briefing prior to going to Panmunjom. A few years ago, there were over 500 incidents per year, which had dropped to ~300 annually when I visited in 2016. I wonder how many attempts they are making annually since Trump has been elected.

Listening to some of the commentary on YouTube someone made a comment that I believe is true. President Trump has the courage to fail.

What this means (in my opinion) is that our President is not going to take a deal just to make him look good. He will walk away from a deal even if the media will shout from the roof tops that he is a failure.

How many bad decisions have our “leaders” got us into because they did not have the courage to fail.
