I guess I’m invested in this soap opera now that I’m a student of it.
Cults of influence are of interest, and that’s exactly what this one is.
Dani’s story is incredible. Her parents got her in the cult at 16, and handed her over to Raniere. She was 18 when Raniere began sexual relations, and (I think) 21 when she got two years of solitary confinement.
And this is just ONE person whose life was almost or partially ruined by Raniere. He stole her youth. He ruined many others.

I hate when I get too busy and many days behind because I miss too much.
Whether or not anything is habbening soon enough to suit everyone, there is still great information and reporting here that should not be missed.
I hope those whose lives have been seriously wounded by NXIVM receive professional help recovering.

couple questions:
1. since there seems to be several “families” where parent and daughters are both initiatied into the cult, what is the attraction for a parent to be willing to “hand over” their child to raniere?
2. Since Sen Gillebrand’s father & step mother are members, do you suppose pappy has offerd up his daughter to Raniere’s cult?
