Back in the 1950s/1980s aliens used to be against nuclear weapons/power. Now they are against climate change. People are projecting their own political beliefs onto their hallucinations of aliens. And the aliens always want us to adopt left wing policies. Nobody flies across the galaxy to warn us about socialism.

Are these aliens the staple of monster films, eg monster attacks beautiful actress.
Or do they have female aliens who mate with male humans? Before I die I might like to try a everything up to scaly reptilian (assuming they were obviously feminine and kinda cute) but I must confess to a soft bigotism against insects.
No offense intended to flying insects which have clean habits, can make honey and generally consort among flowers, but the creepy, crawling, crunchy thorax roaches just turn me off.
