I had a VERY high-IQ ex-pastor who is now a Karl Barth disciple in a liberal denomination.
One day he said Jesus was an itinerant Palestinian preacher.
I left the church REAL quick after that.....

Jack Hibbs had an amusing line-I think this was in the context of scholars that deny the authorship of the book of Jeremiah-we have people with doctorates and running Youtube channels that a hundred years ago would have been in psychiatric institutions.

The Frankfurt School infiltrated most seminaries decades ago. Higher Criticism, Cultural Marxism, and Political Correctness appeal to the hoity-toity (so-called) theologians who exalt human reason above all.
C. S. Lewis exposes them in books like The Great Divorce, and That Hideous Strength.
