The Church still stands. It merely needs a new roof and steeple. Any talk about a new design is just nonsense.
The steeple that fell wasn’t the original, anyways. It was from the mid 1800’s.
The original had been taken down in the late 1700’s because of weather damage.
They should preserve the Gothic design, but in modern materials.
And install a sprinkler system................
Here is the church, here is the steeple, open the doors and see all the art historians, secular folk proud of a local landmark, tourists, shady looking Muslims eying the structure for weaknesses and the three elderly ladies who are Christians.
It will have to be rebuilt with steel. The timers they used in “the old days” are not available today. So there won’t be a next time unless somebody flies a 747 heavy into it.
Apparently these ‘experts’* think the angels saved the windows and bell towers so muzzie-tard pols could promote their usual shiite.
