My wife once worked there. It’s actually not a bad place for technical people to work.

I’ve had many a run in with their SETAs over my ~ 40 year career. There’s nothing particularly sinister about them. Just another Beltway Bandit but a non-profit one, not that that makes them any better.

For someone with a John S. Mosby moniker, you don’t show much familiarity with Northern Virginia.

Hubby worked for MITRE for over 25 years They are a federally funded research and development firm —an offshoot of MIT. They are SETA type contractors as noted above, offering expertise to both defense contractors and government. Sort of a go-between. Nothing nefarious as far as I know about the firm....

Have very much familiarity with the “real” Virginia, FRiend. Important difference from the “swamp” of that part of VA that is populated by trough eaters— that is.. Beltway Bandits. Like MITRE.
