One plays the Trump card to take control of the game or to “Seize the Lead” in order to run the other players out of the game! This can be done by Trumping the off suit and then leading the rest of the plays while forcing the other players to play their ‘supposed’ winners to your higher winning card. The ideal the ins to take the lead and take their minor cast offs until one can lead the rest of the way in the trump suit while forcing their winners onto the table in a losing cause.

Again, one plays the Trump Card when it is time to take over the game!

I am reminded of the movie, "The Last StarFighter".
The enemy has him outnumbered and thinks they have him surrounded when he is actually waiting until all his enemy is within a certain reach, then unleashes the "Death Blossom" and kills them all.
