One of the best American films of the ‘70s.
Is he the one with the Easy Death in the closet?
Keith has always been my favorite actor of the Carradine brothers. His portrayal of Wild Bill Hickok in the HBO series “Deadwood” was awesome.
He’s the dude from Madonna’s “Material Girl” video.
He’s also Penny’s dad on The Big Bang Theory. Looks nothing like his brother imo.
I had no clue. The guy is good.
That was David.
Won the Oscar for Best Song for this, I believe.
He wrote it.
Robert Altman wanted all the actors (the ones portraying singers) to write their own songs in ‘Nashville’. Carradine and Ronee Blakley did the best job IMO, although Blakley really was a singer already. Fine film from the greatest decade for films.
Hilarious!
Thank you. Classic.
I think Barbara Harris was the best singer of the bunch. Not my favorite performer in the film, but the best voice.
Absolutely worst song ever to win Academy Award.
Yeah, no thanks. That was painful the first time I heard it back in the day. It hasn’t gotten better.
I can’t believe some are saying this was a great film. It was filled with depravity, greed, lechery, and had no redeeming social value. I went to see it when it came out, and halfway through the film broke. I got my money back. That was the only good thing about that film.
“Nashville” was mocking country music. So simple, even non-musicians can write hit songs.
Is he the one with the Easy Death in the closet?
No that Was Cricket.. David!
