20 years, 700 victims: Southern Baptist sexual abuse spreads as leaders resist reforms
We keep the same small thought in the back of our mind. I never say it out loud, but sometimes I think..."Who is like him? and who is able to fight against him?"
I don't think so, but sometimes I have to wonder.
It is a dangerous thing to make a man your "functional" Messiah. So I try to keep it all in perspective.
Not the mental image that I had of Bagster! ;-)
::Frankly I was surprised FNC carried the whole speech. They stopped at one point.::
~~~
Yeah, Hannity interrupted and then Ingraham, but they quickly shut up. You’re welcome. I was yelling so much at Hannity that they could hear me in NYC.
Clip above left off part if the tweet:
POTUS “Did they get the clip?”
Yes, Mr. President.
POTUS “Did they catch all the references?”
Yes, Mr. President.
POTUS “Show me.”
Thank you, Mr. John Vineyard.
Thank you, Anons.
700 victims in 20 years is...35/year. About one every ten days.
Out of *how* many individual churches?
:: There are demons to fight.
Know your enemy and pray unceasingly.
We are the news now.
We are the new media.
Be prepared.
Battle stations!
The desperate will fight viciously.
Stay together.
There will be pain, but our goal is worth it.
Godspeed, patriot.
WWG1WGA! ::
Imma temper this post, a bit. Yes, pray unceasingly...for God’s will to be done.
I, too, am “fired up” concerning Act III but we must remember that it is the executive administration, military and our CinC (may re-election be upon him) that fights FOR us. He said so tonight, “We are fighting for you!” It is a fight, yes, but Trump is our dog in that fight. We watch and encourage...and red pill.
A call to “battle stations” is a bit much for we are extracted from battle for good reason. We are not strong enough. We would have been trampled under-foot had we been there at the first. Like so many rag-dolls, we would have been defeated and the movie would have ended there.
Stay together? Yes, and the Q-threads, Q-drops, chanfags and the rallies are what we look forward to. Who doesn’t keep a tab open to qmap.pub?
Fired up from the rally? Good. Take that energy and red-pill family. Contact your employees (congress). Send encouragement to POTUS (whitehouse.gov) ^specifically^ regarding Q/Q+.
Trust the Plan.
Enjoy the show.
My pastor and I had a great conversation recently, centering around Galations 4.
In that time, the system of education was such that the student never surpassed the teacher (Socratic system). The teacher knew it all and had it all. The teacher guided the student to knowledge...his knowledge. When the teacher passed, the student would only carry on the teacher’s knowledge...nothing higher was attained.
Apostle Paul comes along and undermines that system among the Galatians by telling them they, as students, can become greater than the teacher. They can be hired into the university and teach others! The socratic method is disassembled as Christ - THE teacher- subsides and the students become the master. They “red-pill” the people aropund them.
That’s how I delineate the current situation when I struggle with making parallels to Biblical accounts, persons and timelines.
Q is still a socratic teacher and we are the students that will never surpass him. This is unlike the accounts of spreading the Gospel “unto all the earth”.
Correspondingly, we do know that we have heavenly salvation. Q is just helping us in our earthly travails.
Hi troll-boi!
Looks like “...at least 10 SBC churches that welcomed pastors, ministers and volunteers since 1998 who had previously faced charges of sexual misconduct.” But my guess it would be the whole ‘convention’. I am not certain of their organizational structure.
Weird. I had no paywall. Howabout this one? https://projects.houstonchronicle.com/2019/southern-baptist-abuse/
It is called the Southern Baptist Convention for a reason. The Convention has no control over individual churches. Each church has responsibility for it's own governance.(Biblical model by the way)
Just like anything else, there are perverts who sneak in.
Some churches are too spineless to deal with it and they die. People are not long taken in by that kind of crap. If they will tolerate that they will compromise the gospel and the kind of people who will attend a church like that won't also support it financially. They don't have the finances of the Catholics to fall back on. no one is sending them any money.
You might also note the prosecutions mentioned in the article. Southern Baptists generally tend to throw the bums out and see them prosecuted.
Also some people lie and claim abuse for attention or money
1. Nothing the convention can do about it
2. Always going to be churches that are not churches
3. Most of the time it gets prosecuted (if it is criminal not all harassment is criminal)
4. Some of it is made up
No wonder they attack the Southern Baptist Churches. The only major denomination to stand up against the Homerseckshual infiltration, maintain Biblical roles for men and women, and refuse to compromise with the Jesus is just "one" way to heaven crowd."
Thank you.
Well said.
I sooooooo miss The Big Show!
Your original post went to the San Antonio Express which sits behind a pay wall.
Your second post to me goes to the Houston Comical...no pay wall.
When I was searching for last night’s speech I typed in ‘POTUS speech tonight’ and the first 3 choices were about Hussein!
They can’t hide the truth from us though. We will find it. We have KitJ, TEXOKIE, Haffast and many others who have amazing shovels.
In before 100, maam.
