The scientists are saying the sea levels will rise 3 to 4 feet or something. Since the oceans cover 70% of the earth that is going to take more than just the ice from Greenland.

Around 12,900 years ago....an ice-melt ‘event’ occurred and in some catastrophic way (we are talking about in days, not years or centuries)...the water level rose 300 feet, to where it stands today. Before scientists run off and get excited about 3 or 4 feet in a rise...they might want to survey what triggered the 300 foot rise.
