if he was protecting his wife and daughter the Mob could could of been committing a hate crime on his family...If there are other victims in the mall of this group of kids and they are all white this could turn into something very different...years ago in Portland Oregon at a mall I worked at we had a problem with teen age wana be gang members (reality SPOILED RICH KIDS from a mostly black neighborhood that surrounded the mall) they would harass are real costumers shoving, stealing, yelling rude comments. eventually security had a rule if you were under 17 your parents had to be in the mall and no groups of kids walking with out a parent.
