Court TV to return to television, E.W. Scripps Company announces

CINCINNATI – One of the most iconic brands in television history will return when Katz Networks, part of The E.W. Scripps Company, relaunches Court TV – a new network devoted to live, gavel-to-gavel coverage, in-depth legal reporting and expert analysis of the nation’s most important and compelling trials.

For more than 20 years, Court TV brought high-profile courtroom dramas, including the trials of O.J. Simpson, the Menendez brothers and Casey Anthony, into American living rooms. Continuing that legacy, the new Court TV network will launch in May 2019 and run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It will be available for cable, satellite, over-the-air and over-the-top carriage.

In rebooting Court TV, Katz Networks announced:

It has acquired Court TV’s intellectual property, including the trademark, website and complete, original 100,000-hour Court TV library from Turner Broadcasting.
Original Court TV anchor Vinnie Politan will serve as lead anchor.
Former Court TV and CNN producers John Alleva and Scott Tufts will join as vice presidents and managing editors.
The new Court TV has secured over-the-air distribution agreements with major local TV station group owners including Tribune, Scripps and Univision. These agreements allow Court TV to reach more than 50 percent of U.S. television households at launch, with concurrent cable carriage of 25 percent of U.S. cable homes.

“Court TV was a top-20 cable network and at the height of its popularity when the network was taken off the air in 2008,” said Jonathan Katz, president and CEO of Katz Networks. “Today, while consumer interest in the real-life drama of true-crime programming is at an all-time high, there is no dedicated daily court coverage on television. We expect the new Court TV to fill that void on cable, satellite, over-the-air and over-the-top.”

Wow, nice to know that Francis has fooled Q.

And no, I'm not saying all of this because I'm Catholic. I've been following the saga of Cardinal George Pell for over 20 years.

Pell is 110% conservative and orthodox, and Francis despises him. Francis removed him as the lead bishop in Austrailia and moved him to the Vatican investigating the finances/Vatican Bank (which is supposedly part of why Francis was elected) so that he could replace him in Australia with someone extremely liberal.

He though Pell would do an incompetent job because Pell had no experience in that area. But Pell found massive irregularities with the Vatican finances in spite of it.

Francis then killed the audit Pell had initiated that was being done by an international accounting firm, which also found massive irregularities.

The final straw was when Pell and his forensic accountant issued a memo about an irregularity, ordering the process be changed to prevent it from happening again.

That's when he was hit with 40-year old sexual abuse charges back in Austrailia.

At exactly the same time, Francis fired the forensic accountant.

One of the accusers (obviously an adult by now) repeatedly swore before he died that he and the other accuser had lied about Pell abusing them, but the police and prosecutors ignored him.

Does Q know any of these details? And don't give me that "Q has everything" crap. I doubt he has bothered to get to the bottom of this along with Pell's history (because he doesn't think it's important enough), and is solely going by 1) Pell was #3 in the Vatican, so he's automatically bad, and 2) all priests accused of molesting children are guilty.

If this is how superficial the Q team is, I fear for The Plan, because they are obviously not thorough with details on everything and are too quick to judgment. I'm concerned that sort of lack of insight will affect the plan adversely.

And yes, I'm horrified and angry about Pell's conviction, and incredibly disappointed in Q. There's no excuse. Everyone who knows Pell knows he's innocent. I would stake my life on it
