Might be referring to the ‘87 Black Monday market crash. Bush Sr. was still VP then and there was a lot of conjecture about program trading... but a lot of the drops occurred during light volume trading. I think it was after this that they implementing the ‘plunge protection team’ and a bunch of the other market controls for trading.
I’m sorry, you’ll have to ask these questions of Jackie-soi. He is much more in-tune with all things Sessions and AG activities.
