Sinead O'Connor has sparked outrage on Twitter by claiming she no longer wants to spend time with 'disgusting white people' after converting to Islam.
The Irish singer, who now refers to herself as Shuhada' Davitt, apologised for her 'racist' tweet, but said said 'I never wanna spend time with white people again'.
She branded 'white people' or 'non-Muslims' disgusting, before adding: 'interesting to see if Twitter bans this'.
Later tweets posted by the former Catholic priest included the hashtag #TrustMeIAmaSoldier, #NotAsF*****CrazyAsSheLooks' and #ReignOfWhiteMANover.
The 51-year-old, who has battled with her mental health over the years was met with a furious backlash from both Muslims and non-Muslims.
One person replied: 'Youre disgusting too then, because you're are also white.'

Miz O’Connor, bless her heart, seems to be laboring under a few false impressions, A that Islam has no white people, and B that she’s not neurotically white as white can be. This won’t end well for her, but she’s too addled to understand that.

Sounds like she has made contact with the same “spirit” the Prophet did. The devil prowls about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Not much hope for her, going from mistake to mistake.
Thats why she ran to islam.... the mystical cure for spiritual issues.
