my pastor warned of this exact thing in the early 90’s. Mark of the Beast he called it:
Revelation 13:16-17 King James Version (KJV)
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

An alternative interpretation that respects the consistency throughout the Bible, and acknowledges the use of symbology in Revelation is: that the "mark" is actually how people are marked (Identified by) in real life by how they live their lives: their heart belief controls their mind and what they do with their hands. So it is not a device. It's just lost people being lost people.
Verse 7-8 gives you the hint that they are all of the same mind: the are lost.
Does your pastor believe that the consistency of the Bible concerning soteriology that deals with heart change will all of a sudden be flipped on its head in the last dispensation to one mechanical decision by sinful man (both believers and non believers) that will lead them to damnation? A serious theological question. No snark whatsoever.
An alternative interpretation that retains both the consistency throughout the Bible, and it takes into consideration the use of symbology throughout Revelation is: that the "mark" is actually how people in the later days are marked (Identified by) in real life by how they live their lives: their heart belief controls their mind and what they do with their hands.
Verse 7-8 gives you the hint that they are all of the same mind: they are lost.
Confessing Christians will not be allowed to partake in this economy. But that isn't entirely new. We've seen war being waged on Christians before. This one is world wide.
Wasn’t something mentioned about when men dressed and acted as women, and women dressed and acted as men?
Wasn’t something mentioned about all the worlds money would’ve as one( bit coin)?
Just asking
And they were written off as kooks.< P> Yet technology today makes it more feasible than ever.
