My heart is with you good folks on the East Coast.
I have 3 friends who live in NC that had to evacuate, have heard from them all on FB, 2 of them did this “I am safe post” as soon as Florence had blown through. None of them know what they are going to find when they get to go home.
Need to continue to pray as the water rises and the death count goes up. It’s going to be a while before all this is over and the rebuilding begins.
Just wondering if their mission statements mentions anything about overthrowing the government .....

At the home of The Mayor (Freeper) & wife for a few days in Niagara Falls. Nice to see them again. Been a couple years. Did not go online with computer at all after I left hotel. Did a little surfing with my phone and posted a few pix on FB of dinner at German rest in Amherst NY (Buffalo suburb) with Freeper friend saveliberty and her family last night. Crashed early and hard! NIKK, packs and prepares ahead. that is smart. I am not and was scrambling like crazy yesterday to leave hotel to get to NY in time for the dinner meet - which was early. I handle stress pretty well - don’t like it but don’t go crazy or need time away or meds( well, wine is nice)
Need to finish thread catch up here. Doing laundry here & will run out later to Walmart and have taillight light replaced. Stopped by LEO on way from Amherst German restaurant to Mayor’s house in Niagara Falls.
Lucy was up with me the entire day. Attentive and alert riding shotgun, head out window during most of travel & exploring new places and new home , with resident cat. Their pup Echo died about the same time as my TOBY.
