Somehow someone dubbed him Jogger Joe. He shows us how NOT to clean up a homeless camp.
Some robberies seem to count more than others. A man faces a second-degree robbery chargebut not for first stealing a homeless persons belongings. Nobody doubts he did that.
His alleged crime is stealing a bystanders phone. The bystander recorded him stealing (taking and discarding) the homeless persons belongings.
The suspect confessed to the phone robbery, according to the Oakland police. However, he wasnt charged for robbing a homeless person. This is because a homeless persons possessions are considered debris, rather than stolen property.
Following an investigation of the phone theft incident, authorities arrested 30-year-old Oakland resident Henry W. Sintay. However the suspect, after booking, is no longer in custody.

I get that this guy was a moron for what he did - especially snatching the phone away from the guy videotaping him. But Lake Merritt has turned into a cesspool because of all the encampments. It's a frustrating situation all around. I wish the homeless would camp outside of the mayor's house. She being so tolerant and all.

Video clips show Sintay throwing the homeless persons belongings into a trash bin, and larger items directly into Lake Merritt. He didn't steal it, he just moved it.

Here in the San Fernando valley there is trash littering all over the place. The parks, streets, parking lots. Where ever the drug addicts/homeless are.
I bet they are pushed out if anywhere near a mayor or the governor of a state.
