You’re assuming he holds dual citizenship, I wouldn’t be so sure, unless you’re saying Cuban/Canadian? I would hazard a guess that young mama Cruz probably didn’t register the birth abroad with the U.S. govt, oopsie.
Cruz said he held Canadian citizenship! He said he renounced it once the topic was broached publicly. So he was either a dual citizen, unless he was solely Canadian, which is unlikely as his mother was a US citizen. There were mutterings that his mother had renounced her US citizenship while living in England.
But at the very least Cruz was a dual citizen.
