I'll have to to examine the timeline closely, but, I believe that RR signed off on at least some of those HRC/Steele dossier-based bogus FISA warrants..

1. Before Trump was inaugurated as POTUS (and could issue legal orders)

2. Before Trump was elected (and was still a candidate and private citizen)

I'm not at all sure if one warrant was requested after Trump became POTUS.

If that was the case, then my "either/or" in My #688 applies.

My point is that -- unless my timeline is totally wrong -- RR committed at least one of those criminal acts when Trump could not have possibly (legally) ordered him to do so.

I believe your recollection is correct - the next to last FISA was gotten the day before inauguration following one 3 months prior.

RR only signed off on one Fisa The last one. It was after DJT was president and may have been done to see just how the judge would react. A set up/sting without any changes just to see if she/he would OK it (outside of the mandatory boundaries ) She/he took the bait and did OK it. Which shows/proves that the FISA judge was also corrupt! RR did his job read about it in the IG report.

Can that position sign off on a FISA warrant ?
