Don't believe it. I once came back from Europe and forgot to throw out some fruit from Santa Claus. Got pulled over and when he pulled it out I was mortified. I began apologizing. He threw it away and told me it was OK.

I agree. It’s not great secret that bringing in agricultural products from abroad is a no-no unless certain restrictions are met. There are very, very good reasons for this.
