I’ve been to Taos multiple times and have spent the night there once and never have experienced the hum at any location in the area, including Taos Pueblo. Guess my ears just aren’t tuned for low frequencies.

Visited the Taos Pueblo a little over a year ago. It’s a hella rough ride to the place, but WELL worth it.

It’s sublte, I guess, I’ve never been there or heard it. First read of it in William Corliss’ Science Frontiers.

A friend of mine said he used to be bothered by low frequency noises when he was young until he served in Marines—artillery and never had the problem again.
