AMPA, Fla. (WFLA) A Florida woman is responding after a man accused her of owning a bobcat that attacked him inside a condo at a downtown Tampa high-rise.
Marcos Hernandez, who is represented by the Morgan & Morgan law firm, filed the lawsuit last month in Hillsborough County against SkyPoint Condominium Association, Inc. and Christine Lee.
Lee tells News Channel 8 that his claims arent true. She says the alleged bobcat is actually a domestic long-hair tortoiseshell cat named Calli.

LOL!
THAT’S supposed to be a bobcat?????? ROTFLMAO!!
Figures Morgan & Morgan would be involved. I’ve seen their ads on TV and they’re an ambulance-chasing bunch. Obviously liberals.
I hope the judge isn’t as big an idiot as those lawyers are and he tosses the case out.
Morgan & Morgan are ambulance chasers or the worst kind. She needs to counter-sue ................. YO! Morgan is eyeing the governorship and making big bucks on the marijuana legalization. He may soon be Gov. Morgan, and he’d be like Capt Morgan the pirate once in control. Agrrrrrr.
It’s a house cat, Jim.
I couldn’t believe it when I saw the charges.
That guy is nuttier than a candy bar!
Definitely not a bobcat. But a domestic cat can sometimes, for absolutely no reason at all, go berserk and attack somebody. Some of them have a history of doing it.
I had a friend who spent two weeks in the hospital and needed stitches after a large male cat owned by a friend leaped off the banister as she was coming up the stairs to visit the friend, stuck itself to her shoulder, and started clawing. She needed the wounds repaired and was on IV antibiotics for 2 weeks because of cat scratch fever. The “friend” giggled and said, “oh, he does that sometimes.” My friend should have sued, but she didn’t.
I also know an EMT who went out on a call about a “cat attack,” and everybody else in the unit was making meowing sounds and ridiculing them through the radio...and then they got there, and the entire family was standing outside the building, several of them covered in blood, because the cat had suddenly flipped out and attacked them. The cops actually ended up having to shoot it. (Of course, then it was “evil cops shoot cute kitty.”)
But apparently this is not uncommon. Her cat may have had a history of this, in which case she may be liable, but if it’s a one-time thing, I don’t think she’d be found responsible.
Pintos never looked so good.
The law firm should be called “Moron & Moron” for taking his case.
Is that “Morning Joe” Scarborough in the middle?
No kidding!
He SAYS he didn’t provoke her but I’m not buying it. If a cat doesn’t want you near it, it’ll let you know. If you go ahead and get closer, you get what you deserve. Scratched. You get more than scratched, you really went too far.
With our “herd”, we have just about every personality type represented except psycho. Percy was psycho when he first arrived and we figured out quickly he’d been abused by whoever dumped him. With patience and love, we turned him into a sweet feller. BUT he’ll let someone new know to hold off and let HIM go up to THEM if he so desires, and he usually will. It just has to be on his terms.
Is that Phil Silvers in the middle?
While reading this my kitty jumped up on the desk
I think this gave her some ideas.......
AAARG ! Help Help DoWN KITTY .......
That's OK, I seriously doubt that the person suing is a Man
What a sweet, adorable kitteh!
I’ve seen bobcats. I’ve known a bobcat. That’s no bobcat!
Mark
Bobcat?????
Maybe a cat named Bob, but that ain’t a bobcat! LOL!
When we take over, first thing we do is kill all the lawyers. Not just some of them, all of them. God can sort out the good ones.
If that photograph of a domestic kitty is the “Bobcat” of mention in the article then I am a Democrat.
We have Bobcat visitors on occasion, and know what Bobcats look like. That ain’ no Bobcat.
Yeah, that’s no bobcat! The guy entered the condo to do a yearly fire alarm check and came earlier than the schedule the owner was expecting and she wasn’t there. There’s NO WAY a cat would just jump up and attack the guy. He must have tried to pet it or it felt threatened in some way. He really should have rescheduled the system check for when the owner was home. Suing her and the condo association is a bit much.
