There is a novel - Little Green Men - written by Christopher Buckley. You might find it interesting and very funny.
Basically the book is about how our government wanted the Russians to believe we had visits from and information from extra terrestrials. We wanted the Russians to believe we had UFO technology. So they abducted people and convinced them they had been taken into space ships.
The main character in the novel is a guy who was hired to abduct people from places such as Walmart parking lots. Over time the people claimed all kinds of things happened to them in the space ships, e.g., sexual stuff. Over time the guy had to increase what he had to do to maintain his credibility. It a funny novel. A fast read.
