Vanity - Roy Moore pulls a Hillary Clinton disappearance act and loses.

Posted on 12/13/2017 6:02:08 AM PST by JLAGRAYFOX

Politics is a bloodsport...but, it is also a people contact sport. When I learned back a week or so ago, that Judge Roy Moore was not out campaigning in public...I knew this political game for Moore was over or, at least on a dangling, dangerous lifeline.

One of the many major reasons that Democrat, Hillary Clinton lost her POTUS run to Donald J. Trump is that she literally stopped major campaign activity starting in August, 2016...a big, major mistake. Pressing the flesh of voters is an absolute must and, Doug Jones did exactly that many times over.

Roy Moore did exactly the same thing as Clinton...hid in the closet of protection, so he thought was safe & sound, and he would be OK. Not true!!!

POTUS, Donald J. Trump saw the flaws in the Moore campaign, back In September, 2017, when Moore defeated Luther Strange in a runoff election...stating that if Luther Strange had won the runoff the senate seat would be a safe one, ending with a big victory for Luther Strange in the December 12, election.

As much as Trump hates losing the Senate to a Democrat, I'll bet he is relieved that Roy Moore is now not a continuing problem for both him & the entire GOP Caucus.

He did, and Dougie Jones can hardly claim a “mandate”.

Yes. But had Brooks run, Jones wouldn’t have had a chance. Moore couldn’t keep his mouth shut and I’m surprised his surrogates remember how to piss they were so stupid.

Well, he's Chuckie's boy now. There are some Republican fools in Alabama that actually think he'll vote with Republicans....HA!

Jones will be itching for a position in the next Democratic Administration, should they regain the WH in 2020, he doesn’t give a crap about being re-elected to the seat. This is his audition.

Wrong -- the write-in vote was then difference as well as the fact the establishment cut off funding for him absolutely was the difference.

That you're celebrating with the Never Trump faction of the party says all anyone needs to know about you.

He pretty much did a Hillary, thought he had it wrapped up, and got lazy.

Despite everything that was against him (including being a poor candidate), he still almost pulled this off. This was winnable, even with Moore.

Yeah, considering his own party of establishment goons spent 30M to make damn sure he lost, and not only allowed the rats to portray the man as a pederast, but actually piled on- yeah, in retrospect it’s amazing that he did as well as the numbers indicate.

If Roy had denied and attacked back like Trump did during the 2016 election, and never let up all the way to yesterday, Today would be Roy’s. Instead he plotted with his advisers and attorneys on a response, and let public opinion turn against him quickly. Trump never waited when his accusers arrived. The GOP had better figure out a solution to Bimbo Parades that works. The DNC will use this tactic to no end now. It’s just about all they have left.

Looking back, my opinion is that Sessions was a plant, not a die hard Supporter. It was all planned out how to best use Sessions and the Russian take-down with appointment of SC. His recusal was first step, then put Rosenstein in to get Mueller appointed. Mueller doesn’t have to recuse himself nor any of the lawyers Mueller picked.

More proof, the threat if Trump fired Sessions, Senate and House would impeach Trump. That speaks volumes.

Shucks it was all over the internet for the past two weeks. In addition Moore took no interviews from rank & File media folks. When Trump was running for POTUS he took every interview that was presented to him, Big mistake by Roy Moore.

On the positive side... Because, Roy Moore lost his election, Democrat Senator, Al Franken has no choice but to resign immediately from his senate position. Democrat, Governor, Mark Dayton of Minnesota has already named Franken’s replacement. Goodbye to Both Franken & Moore!!!

As for newly elected Senator, Doug Jones...unless he sides with Trump on most occasions he will only be a Senator for ten mouths. He must stand for election again in November, 2018. Trumpie and the Republican Caucus have dodged the “Moore” bullet!!!

It doesn’t cost a dime to stand on a street corner and shake hands.

It doesn’t cost a dime to wander through a mall and wish the shoppers Merry Christmas.

It doesn’t cost a dime to arrange to meet with the evil msm and give exclusive interviews.

It doesn’t cost a dime to be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club or whatever meeting.

It doesn’t cost a dime to go out to eat rather than having it brought into your private office where no one sees you. Look at the press Melania, Karen and Mrs. (Gov.) Abbott got last week by just popping into a Whataburger instead of sending their out to get their lunch.

He didn’t uphold his end of the deal during the campaign.

Trump made a huge mistake pulling Sessions out of the Senate and into DOJ

Agree. Sessions hasn't done a thing for the DOJ and lost a R seat in the Senate nor did he lift a finger to help keep a R in his old seat.

It doesn’t become a Clinton act until his campaign starts blaming the ‘Russian collusion’ of jones.

No, Jones will fill out the remainder of Session's term, he is there until January 2021. You did realize this, didn't you?
