Melania Trump, 47, wore the colour of the season for the unusual ceremony, carried out by every President over the past 70 years.
Donald Trump's wife wore a deep red knitted polo neck jumper which she paired with a tight burgundy leather skirt.
The skirt, which clung to every curve, was worn very high, coming up to Melanias waist.
The coat covered the rest of Melanias stunning outfit.
The First Lady beamed as she watched her husband perform the turkey pardon.
Her hair was worn in a centre parting, and she kept her makeup simple.
Son Barron looked smart in a suit and skinny tie
The First Daughter and Melania's stepdaughter appeared to copy the First Lady with her choice of outfit for the event.
Ivanka also wore red for the annual turkey pardoning, and not only was the colour similar, Ivankas outfit had a heavy floral brocade pattern mirroring the coat Melania wore.
The 36-year-old smiled as she joined her husband, Jared Kushner, and their children for the event.
She chose a vibrant red coat with diamante buttons and a floral brocade collar.
Earlier today, Melania stepped out in sexy leather boots to inspect the White House Christmas tree.
Delivered by a horse and cart, the tree is a Wisconsin grown Fir provided by the Chapman family of Silent Night Evergreens.
The First Lady decided to get in the festive spirit with her choice of outfit choosing to wrap up warm in a red and navy check coat, worn resting on her shoulders.
She slipped on a bright red turtle neck top underneath and dark blue skinny jeans, and dressed up the outfit with a pair of patent black knee high boots.
Love Melania,,,but in my humble opinion, the skirt is too high-waisted.
Yet even so, she is a scene stealer. Pretty hard to not be when one is that blessed with beauty.
Compare her look with the worst “lady”, michael. LOL. The moocher really was a fashion “icon” (according to the LIB lunatics).
Compared to the itinerant turkeys that help the deer mow the yard, that one was White Privilege, Big Time.
Who knew that Turkeys were considered “Big Game”?
wihout a doubt!
MMMM... Orange Creamsicle.
Yes, and remember, ...that the WORST look of Melania is infinitely superior to the best of the she-ape that we were inflicted with in the 8 preceeding, miserable, ugly, interminably endless years.
I’m envisioning the horror and MSM/PETA fainting spells from this, delightful!
Food procurement happens.
I’m with you, although I might not have been quite as direct. I don’t like the high waist, and I don’t think that look is flattering on her.
OMG! All the way up to her waist!!
What is their suggested alternative?
Actually the dress, the cut, the length and the fit seem quite modest.
I just so much appreciate our First Family.....Proud as can be!
If he said that, THAT would be the line of the century!
Melania is sexy in pretty much anything.
Woman would have to wear a moon suit to look bad.
That is not a sexy leather dress. What a lot of nonsense by this media outlet.
everyone going down to Florida tonight! good to get them out of the swamp
She’s wearing high waisted exactly as it should be worn....sits right where it needs to and she has the height and figure shape to pull it of well.
I’m short at 5’2 and short waisted so that style looks ridiculous on me..
I think she is a bit "hippy" so uses the high waist to break up the hip "line".
He's only twelve, he's six feet tall, stunningly handsome, and looks like he's eighteen! Hide him away, Melania. There is so much evil in DC.
Barron
I suppose so. She certainly knows a million times more than I do about fashion. I’d lower that waist a couple of inches. That orange skirt on this thread is also too high for me to really like. Melania rocks, that’s for sure.
My post wasn’t clear. I don’t like the high waist on anyone. Perhaps those who are more aware of style are better or more informed observers, but I find the look unappealing no matter who wears it. She’s still a beautiful woman, but the outfit makes it harder to notice how pretty she is.
