Looks like Ethiopian Orthodox Christians know how to make Matrimony a lavishly beautiful rite.

For those who don't know, in the Orthodox Church all brides and grooms are crowned as part of the ceremon, even if the couple consists of a street-sweeper and a scullery maid.

It's a beautiful tradition.

I confess, I am not familiar with Orthodox church traditions. I first saw the crowned bride and groom in the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding."
