So in six months, if it’s well and truly gone, I’ll give him credit for doing it. I’m interested in results, not rhetoric and promises.
He dealt with it, took it out but left it in so the damned gnat would no longer bug him, and continued on with his presidency while the lamestream and lefties partied because The Donald had spoken a few kind words to Pelosi and Schumer.
Cheap and easy floozies, the lot of 'em.
Sorry, was typing a response & my comp rebooted and is still updating 3 hours later.
You & I want the same thing: end of DACA. I am on record as favoring no “border security” or wall compromises so that it does fail.
A “naked DACA” won’t pass. If it does, unfortunately Trump will sign-—which is why he threw it back to the House.
My larger point is that many things go into a successful presidency, and at the top is the economy. Clinton stayed in office despite committing perjury purely because of the economy. A successful conclusion to NORKs & ISIS would define Trump’s presidency. I know this isn’t what you want to hear but of ALL the people I personally know-—in AZ!-—not one would put DACA or immigration as the top issue. ALL cite “economy” or “businessman in charge” as their main issue.
Please don’t try to tell me how they have it wrong. My point to you is purely data: Trump could completely blow immigration & be reelected bigger. Again I agree with you on the issue, but totally disagree that DACA either way will significantly impact his reelection. If I start to hear differently I’ll let you know-—but their reaction to the speech I can guarantee will be “YEAH!”
