One of the little know facts of the Armenian and Greek genocide by the Ottoman Empire prior to, during and after WW-1 was that it was Muslims going after mostly Christians and either killing the men outright, enslaving the women and children if they were allowed to live, or sending people to dessert work Camps to die. Kind of fascinating that many of those death camp locations are in modern Syria, where people can remember atrocities being committed against their grandparents.
