When a person with evidence of an apparent federal crime comes with that to a congressman, the proper thing for that congressman to do is to alert the President and probably the Attorney General as well, who are responsible for enforcing federal law.
Nunes said the information had nothing to do with Russia. Then why would he share it with the committee, which is investigating Russia?
