If you show her this list and she doesn’t know what’s so funny

I DID show it to her. She didn't know what a merry go round was. She said they just call it a round table. There is no Tagalog equivalent. Neither one of us knows what the comforter is. I still hear "for a while," a lot. 😊😁😃

I never heard "merry-go-'round", but I know what a lazy susan is and the COMEferter is that big bulky blanket thingy for warm cuddles and sleep on cold nights.

I've never heard "for a while" but way TOO many words are accented on the second syllable that makes the word sound weird, and if you're hard of hearing (like me) it is not an English word.

I was born in februAHRy, and "That's like I told you" begins almost every sentence .... especially the ones that could have been "told" to me before, but they weren't

I can say to you, "That's like I told you before about my passport" (because I did), but I couldn't say, "That's like i told you I don't feel good today", (because I haven't)

But Liza will, can and DOES say that .... a LOT.

And I scratch my head trying to remember ... DID she ?

LOVE this girl !

Girly is the wife of a friend of ours and my BIL is Rinny Boy ... Jinky is Paqman's wife.

NO ONE can compete with the Filipino's in the naming category
