The only way Trump will be stopped is if someone stops him He will not "pivot". He will not change his mind unless it's to do something worse he just thought up. He has never and will never start respecting anything - no matter how sacred it may be to us. He will not stop tweeting. He will never listen to anyone about anything at any time and for any reason. He will do whatever he feels like doing in the moment. He will not stop.
Unless he is stopped what we see now is what we get.
Perhaps in time the people who have the power to stop him through the law or through a coup d'estat or through assassination will act, but until then the entire world as we know it is in peril.
We best face facts.
No. You're allowed to say "assassination".
LOL!
It/Hr/she wo;dn’t last that long.
Great point.
Probably.
Do you mock your new leader?
Seriously?
How ignorant is it to not know that inciting an assassination of a president-elect is against Federal law?
How ignorant is it to not know that there are legal limits to your free speech?
Astounding.
I’ll give begrudging credit to some of the other DUmpsters for having the wherewithal to call him/her out on it.
Funny how not a single one of these lunatic lefty pieces of filth had anything even remotely bad to say about Trump before he ran for office.
One simply does not become a billionaire in the business world by behaving in the ways the leftist freaks ascribe to him. Yet they can’t see reality through their Marxist/Progressive lenses.
There's "free speech" and then there is SPEECH CRIME; the latter is the case in this instance.
Hows is it that you are that uneducated about threats to presidents/president elects ?
I made the screen capture, but am not sure it was a “direct threat”. It was a call for a direct action.
The screen capture shows the URL but cropped the rest of my browser screen.

Threatening the President of the United States is a class E felony under United States Code Title 18, Section 871. It consists of knowingly and willfully mailing or otherwise making “any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States”. The United States Secret Service investigates suspected violations of this law and monitors those who have a history of threatening the President. Threatening the President is considered a political offense. Immigrants who commit this crime can be deported.
Because the offense consists of pure speech, the courts have issued rulings attempting to balance the government’s interest in protecting the President with free speech rights under the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. According to the book Stalking, Threatening, and Attacking Public Figures, “Hundreds of celebrity howlers threaten the President of the United States every year, sometimes because they disagree with his policies, but more often just because he is the President.”
The prototype for Section 871 was the English Treason Act 1351, which made it a crime to “compass or imagine” the death of the King. Convictions under 18 U.S.C. § 871 have been sustained for declaring that “President Wilson ought to be killed. It is a wonder some one has not done it already. If I had an opportunity, I would do it myself.”;[7] and for declaring that “Wilson is a wooden-headed son of a bitch. I wish Wilson was in hell, and if I had the power I would put him there.”[8] In a later era, a conviction was sustained for displaying posters urging passersby to “hang [President] Roosevelt”.
There has been some controversy among the federal appellate courts as to how the term “willfully” should be interpreted. Traditional legal interpretations of the term are reflected by Black’s Law Dictionary’s definition, which includes descriptions such as “malicious, done with evil intent, or with a bad motive or purpose,” but most courts have adopted a more easily proven standard. For instance, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit held that a threat was knowingly made if the maker comprehended the meaning of the words uttered by him. It was willingly made, if in addition to comprehending the meaning of his words, the maker voluntarily and intentionally uttered them as a declaration of apparent determination to carry them into execution.[10] According to the U.S. Attorney’s Manual, “Of the individuals who come to the Secret Service’s attention as creating a possible danger to one of their protectees, approximately 75 percent are mentally ill.”
Thanks. I didn’t know that.
That there is one even here suffering from a case of stuck-on-stupid shook me up enough.
That’s a threat, so why aren’t the Secret Servce agents arresting someone. Bloggers can be traced.
Not sure if that is true. Some of these crazy men have put things on Facebook or other social media, that were ignored.
I don’t think “perhaps someone may” legally constitutes a theat.
Isn’t the EXACT type of Extremism these tech companies are talking about?? Are they going to have their ISP Blocked??
Reuters) Web giants YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Microsoft will step up efforts to remove extremist content from their websites by creating a common database.
