It is sad that this young woman has gone through this, and probably the whole time she was driven to where she was dropped off, she must have figured they would kill her and leave her body hidden in the woods. She will have a very hard time getting over this. Getting over it physically will be the easy part, emotionally she suffer for a lifetime. Hope the kidnappers are caught and get the chair. I suspect they got money to release her. I can’t understand why so many are skeptical...the woman was “heavily battered” and hospitalized.
His speakwrite did the same thing my smartphone does when I text verbally. If it sounds the same, it uses the wrong one.
I keep 4 in my truck along with a 3-ton chain hoist.
Just in case.
Well, he'll be out of office in 7-8 weeks!
You’re missing the good stuff. People believe that she’s a racist who staged her own kidnapping because she hates Hispanics.
First thing that popped into my head when I saw the subject.

Applaud.
Right. It may sound strange right now, but strange things do happen and none of us know the whole story or the details to be throwing around accusations. It seems like any person who ever survives a kidnapping or something similar is almost immediately questioned like they’ve done something wrong. I’ll wait to hear more.
I saw this story earlier today, and boy, did it ever hit close to home for me!
What was really weird was the interview given by the abducted woman’s sister. She knew absolutely nothing, and really had nothing to say. She couldn’t even say whether or not the abductee had been reunited with her own children.
If this woman was chained to a fence, how in the world did she get out of those chains and onto a street? How long was she in chains? Was she fed, was she given water? Who lives for weeks without water? These are questions that you’d think the sis could have addressed.
When our family went through something similar (our outcome wasn’t a happy one, and the case is still ongoing ie..we await the executions of the perps), we were pretty much aware of most everything that was going on, and as soon as it was known. There were a few things we didn’t gain details about until it went to court, but we did have the generalities even on those issues.
We were told that we could be quiet if we wanted to, but if we wanted to talk we could, too. If something was in the wind that needed to be kept quiet, they usually let us know about that thing and we kept it quiet. But after it was dealt with, then we could speak if we wanted to.
The benefit to that was that when it went to trial, we knew the prosecution was aboveboard honest and not just making things up for a judgement in their favor, and we were spared the huge emotional upheavals that would come out in court if we hadn’t already known about them.
As one whose been through this, I really found the sister’s press conference strange. Why are they keeping HER out of the loop??? Why did she even bother giving it?
I have to note that the press was very kind and respectful toward her, and I found them to be that way with us too, except for one...and when we complained about him, he was removed from the case. Otherwise, this is one area where the press actually did do a wonderful job...credit due where credit deserved.
Sherri is in jail now.
Was she kidnapped by K-Mart?
Were they Ruthless People?
