Theologically, we can only say the one would go to hell if he died unrepentant, and only God knows his final state of mind.

Even one who commits suicide might have a split second of remorse.

It is a mystery that God can be infinitely just and merciful at the same time.

So that point is moot; you’ll argue forever.

Reminds me of a joke. A guy decides to kill himself by jumping off a 12 story building. As he passes the tenth floor someone asks through the window how he’s doing. “So far, so good!”

For suicide, even with remorse, he is probably doomed. For all of them we can only say “probably” because all things are possible for God, no?
