It's almost Halloween, and for colleges and universities across the country, that means numerous opportunities for students to demonstrate how sensitive they are to things like diversity, cultural appropriation, racism, sexism, classism, and any other politically correct "ism" that reduces the poor little snowflakes to quaking, quivering, wobbly bowls of Jell-O.
How to combat the coming onslaught of emotionally painful violations of right thinking? One college is offering around-the-clock counseling for students who find some costumes too much to bear.
The University of Florida wants students to know that if theyre offended or scared by Halloween, theres counselors on hand to walk them through the traumatic experience.
October brings fall weather and Halloween, the university wrote in a blog titled Halloween Costume Choices posted to its website Monday.
If you choose to participate in Halloween activities, we encourage you to think about your choices of costumes and themes. Some Halloween costumes reinforce stereotypes of particular races, genders, cultures, or religions, it continues. Regardless of intent, these costumes can perpetuate negative stereotypes, causing harm and offense to groups of people.

Do I get counseling if I am troubled by Albert and Alberta Gator?
1: They portray cisgender heteronormative stereotypes
2: I can’t stop thinking about the boy who was eaten by a gator at Disney World
3: Alligators are sacred to many Native American groups. Therefore Albert and Alberta are disrespecting those cultures.
Have 12 year old kids throw rotten eggs at them and then beat them with flour socks.
That’s what we did.
Yep, she’s a natural.
Hey muzzies! if you want to destroy this country all you have to do is walk around with “scary” clown masks, and you’ll have millions of people creaming their jeans.
But if you walk around with muzzard headgear, and they’ll run out to greet you and welcome you with open arms.
I don’t get it.
What do Muslims care about Halloween?
LOL, how indeed! Growing up as a kid we were told to stop whining. If that failed a slap in the back of the head was administered. If that failed a good hard whipping ensued. That was uaually the end of it. Today, the whining is enabled and any parent wishing to bring coporal to bear receives a visit from the SWAT team.
As far as I can tell, it’s a made-up problem, but Boss Fraud will do ANYTHING to support his terrorist BFF’s, including convincing us that Halloween is oppressive/offensive to muslims.
Because, you know, the Crusades or something.
There will probably be a lot of people dressed up as Trump. I hope the counseling center can provide enough help. Kids get freaked out at the word TRUMP in chalk on the sidewalk. No telling what may happen if they see someone in a Trump mask.
72 years ago this past June, I wonder how many 18 year old’s were looking for their safe space on the beaches of Normandy?
Those American boys fought for us, now 18 year olds are afraid of costumes. They are the walking dead snowflakes. It is the end of America. Take a knee.
What a great point you make and when these snowflakes graduate from college they’re not worth squat.
I hate to break it to all these little weenies but the real world doesn’t give a crap about their isms.
