“The UNESCO document refers to the Temple Mount – a sacred hilltop only by the name “al-Aqsa Mosque/al-Haram al-Sharif (Noble Sanctuary).”

Because the Koran has numerous named references to Jerusalem thus the importance of Jerusalem in Islam! Er, No? Doesn’t name Jerusalem once? Oh.

Funny thing about the Koran never mentioning Jerusalem, by name, or any other Arab reference.

My understanding is that the Koran specifically states that Israel belongs to the Jew. It seems lust for power and control is more important than their primary document. If the Koran gets in their way, and archeology gets in the way, just destroy any evidence that they are wrong.

I'm waiting for the Muslims to demand that the arch in Rome that depicts the conquest of Jerusalem and the taking of plunder by the Romans to Rome be destroyed, becasuse it's not in agreement with their views.

Also, when will they destroy the Coliseum, since it was built with Jewish gold, and is proof that Israel and Jerusalem was part of a Jewish nation.
