Social Security Benefits Bonus Deposit?

Posted on 10/13/2016 2:37:57 PM PDT by savedbygrace

Did anyone else receive a Social Security Benefits bonus deposit last night? There is no explanation, of course, but it is for more than a few dollars. I would love to know what brought this on, other than a bribe by the Obama administration.

Is that what that deposit was?
I figured it was nocturnal emission.

Look at the fine print. There’s probably something that you agreed to but know nothing about by agreeing to accept the “bonus” payment. I don’t trust this administration for $hit.....

Death benefit. Better keep your doors locked the next few days because the Social Security Cost Reduction Squad (SSCRS) will be paying you a visit soon.

I didn’t get such a deposit.

I did get an email wanting my banking info so they could deposit $8.5 million inhertance from some dead relative. I need to get that info to them. :)

I wouldn’t spend it just yet. They may decide it was a computer error.

Is is the date that you would normally receive your benefit? Nothing here - my husband’s is due next Wed and mine the following Wed. Curious! Bribes maybe from the dems? That has to be it. HA! Depending on how big it is, I might be persuaded to change my vote!! More HA HA HA HA

New fiscal year. Congrats. You got a raise.

It just mean I had to work a few more hours this month. I don’t think the Millenials will be as generous when my time comes.

Yes, I got mine. It was from a Nigerian Prince.

He needed bank account details so as to do direct deposit.

There’s probably a time limit on it so you better not delay!!

It’s more than 10% of my regular monthly benefits deposit. A co-worker also got one, but for far less than mine, more like 0.5%.
