You didn’t read the story, did you?
The story was about being the passenger in the car driven by his hoodlum friend.
You would be the guy saying “I was only following Hitler’s orders!” If you were raised in Germany and an adult in WW II.
he decides to speed down the road in the middle of the night...HE WASN’T DRIVING. Your reading comprehension needs to be addressed.
Yes I read the story, and I also said that the dummy driving the car had a warrant or warrants on him, so either way, whoever was driving was stupid for speeding, especially when you’re on the lam. You didn’t read my comments did you?
HE WASN’T DRIVING. Your reading comprehension needs to be addressed. He didn’t have warrants. He is not required to ask his driver if he has warrants either.
So what if he wasn’t driving? It was his buddy who he asked for a ride who was driving. Seems clear that his buddy was speeding because HE was in a hurry, so he is not free from responsibility.
Sounds like your logical thinking skills need to be addressed, as well as your basic social skills.
Your sister just got killed in an automobile accident, and your response is to drive 100 mph.
Oooooooo-Kay.
"Ross was in the passenger seat of the car when Trooper J. Davis pulled them over, and the driver had a suspended license and an outstanding warrant as well, according to Inside Edition."
Why would Ross think he'd be going to jail due to a petty warrant, if there wasn't an outstanding warrant out against him????? If you're an innocent rider in a car whose driver is stopped for speeding, why be worried about going to jail???
Also, "the driver had a suspended license and an outstanding warrant as well..."
To me that means the driver also had a warrant...as did Ross.
Not past the part that was so obviously wrong.
Seems clear that his buddy was speeding....End of argument.
As I asked another person on this thread, why would Ross be worried about going to jail if he didn’t have any warrant(s) on him?? You aren’t taken to jail if you’re an innocent riding in a car whose driver is speeding...are you???
So what? The driver was speeding at his behest, he was the one in a hurry.
Why would you think that? You think I can’t choose to comment on one aspect of the story and still grasp that the author was making another point?
Speeding at his behest.... End of argument.
due to a petty warrant,....It doesn’t say where the warrant was issued and if two cops scoped him and didn’t bring him in, there is a reason. A warrant from Detroit for riding his bicycle on the sidewalk, for instance? Detroit won’t spend the money to extradite him. There is not enough information in this article. BUT I will tell you if OSHP had a reason, ANY reason to arrest him, they would have. OSHP Basic 62 here.
LOL That's darn funny. Since when is "behestism" a defence?
because all cops are bad /s
Defense against what? You ask your buddy to drive you somewhere in the middle of the night and speed because you’re in a hurry, after your sister just died in a car accident, then you’re a dumbass. What’s so hard to fathom about that sentiment?
synonyms; instruction, requirement, demand, insistence, bidding, request, wish, desire, will; ....never heard of it? Part of the English Language.
I think now you’re missing my point about you missing the other point.
