What do Trukey eggs taste liie? We now have backyard chickens and the eggs are fantastic. Henrietta and Laverne reliably come up with an egg almost every day.

My mother grew up during the depression, and one of her relatives owned a turkey farm, so they got turkey eggs for free from their relatives.
She hated them...when she talked about it, even into her seventies, she would grimace and visibly shudder.
You really like them?

A turkey farmer would give us all the double yolks because those don’t sell.
I’d let the eggs dry out (in the shell). The yolks would settle on one side so when you rolled them down the hall, they’d wobble. Lots of fun.
