Cats whiskers are so sensitive;
they can find their way through the narrowest crack in a broken heart
Happy Caturday one and all.
Having a little computer trouble but seems to be okay for now.
I'm afraid it is time for a new one. :^(
Have a lovely weekend.

"Anybody can do butterflies!" Well yeah, but can anybody use Poughkeepsie in a rhyme-scheme?
Butterfly
Whats in those flowers that you sip,
That makes you seem so tipsy?
We cant tell if youre coming from,
Albany or Poughkeepsie,
Or even if youre going to,
One place or the other.
The way you travel seems to be,
Youre looking for your mother!
Just as a toddler wanders round,
With no fixed course in sight,
The butterfly flits both here and yon,
In most erratic flight.
It seems so inefficient,
Why cant you just hold still?
And then you stop, and fold your wings,
Upon a daffodil.
You daintily step forward,
I havent touched a drop!
And just as sober as a Judge,
You spread your wings and FLOP!
And Flip, and Flap, and bounce.
A goonie in reverse.
How can you be so comical?
I know you dont rehearse.
And yet you get where you must go,
God knows how you can do it.
Perhaps the use of folded hands,
And faith just leads you to it.

Relative to its size, a butterfly has a much longer nose than an elephant.

Always in His Care
May 15, 2016
You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
Psalm 139:2
Veteran news reporter Scott Pelley never goes on assignment without his travel essentialsa shortwave radio, camera, indestructible suitcase, laptop computer, phone, and an emergency locator beacon that works anywhere. You extend the antenna, push two buttons, and it sends a signal to a satellite connected to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration," Pelley says. It tells them who and where I am. Depending on what country youre in, theyll either send a rescue teamor not (AARP The Magazine). Pelley has never needed to use the beacon, but he never travels without it.
But when it comes to our relationship with God, we dont need radios, phones, or emergency beacons. No matter how precarious our circumstances become, He already knows who and where we are. The psalmist celebrated this as he wrote, You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. . . . You are familiar with all my ways (Ps. 139:1-3). Our needs are never hidden from God, and we are never separated from His care.
Today, we can say with confidence, If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast" (vv. 9-10).
The Lord knows who we are, where we are, and what we need. We are always in His care.
O Lord, we praise You for Your never-ending love and Your never-failing care.
We are always in His care.
Psalm 139 is a complex poem that is made up of several themes: meditation, confession, prayer, reflection, and lament. It is comprised of four sections or movements. The first deals with Gods exhaustive and comprehensive knowledge (vv. 16). The second displays His perfect and persistent presence (vv. 712). No matter where we go, God is already there. The third movement in the psalm talks about Gods intentional, personal, and ongoing creativity (vv. 1318). And finally, the psalm calls attention to humanitys desire and need for justice and redemption (vv. 1924).

Yes...but I am running into a lot of “issues”.
And with the issues come BILLS.
Oh well...I had lived in rental housing for so long, I guess I will have to get out of the habit of “Calling Maintenance”.
