President Barack Obama's spokesman Josh Not-Earnest said on Thursday that the White House is flabbergasted by the record number of Americans seeking to buy guns in recent weeks.
"The more that we see this kind of violence on our streets, the more people go out and buy guns," he said. "That is both ironic and tragic."
Every person with just a basic degree of common sense knows why it's happening -- Americans no longer feel safe and believe the Obama administration will try to outlaw gun sales when it can -- but sadly, no such people are part of this horrendous administration. As Earnest said when asked to explain the record sales numbers: "I don't know. I really don't know."
He added:
"In some cases these are individuals who believe that they need to buy a gun so that they can better protect themselves. In some cases because it’s Black Friday, they probably are going and purchasing a gift for a friend or a loved one who is a gun enthusiast. I’m just pointing out that there are already an astonishing number of guns on the streets of America and far too many innocent Americans who are being killed by them."
In contrast to Not-Earnest, Americans also see the violence -- especially terrorist attacks like the one in San Bernardino last week -- and realize that if they don't protect themselves, nobody's going to do it. That's logical to every person with at least some basic degree of common sense, but not to Not-Earnest...

Since they have a different set of laws and are allowed to do insider trading, I suspect they are buying and selling gun stock based on the latest shootings and threats to the 2nd amendment.

If anything, the arrival of Mr. Trump on the scene is a reflection of the desire of the population to prevent a

Along with identifying information, the 4473 asks if a person purchasing a firearm is buying it for themselves. If they answer “No,†the transaction cannot go forward. There is an explanation on the back that says a person purchasing a firearm as a gift for someone else is the “actual buyer,†but that someone who is purchasing a gun for someone else, at that person’s request, and using that person’s money, must answer “No†to the question.

Every far left liberal I have met have come across to me as people who cannot or won’t face facts or live in the real world.
I could give hundreds of examples of them and that was even after giving them written facts from even a liberal media.
I.E. Sweden and their rape culture since they have let in third world immigrants.
That answer is crafted for liberals like my mom who will always hate guns. No other answer will do. They wouldn't dare say they knew this would happen, though they did know, because they would be at fault for the increase in gun interest and activity.
The demodummies are not all as stupid as Earnst. Odumbo has one thing in his sights and that is TOTAL AND COMPLETE removal of guns in this country.

I’ve mentioned this in an earlier thread concerning this issue, but this reminds me of the story behind the eighteen amendment (the institution of Prohibition) in the United States. If I am not mistaken, one thing that gave the movement to ban the manufacture, sale, and possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages was the First World War. There apparently was a stigma against taking a drink as celebration/fun related activities were curtailed because of men being away fighting in Europe. As a result, it was just that bit easier to put forth Prohibition, even though of course it was a very tragically wrong thing for the government to have done so.
It’s so obvious that the Obama administration nearly a century later wants to do the same sort of thing with firearms (and of course, repeat the same tragic and hypocritical mistakes).
There is just no convincing them no matter how much factual evidence, data and logic you put before them. They won’t budge. In fact, their usual response is to go off on a tangential argument to get back to their favorite emotional talking points and straw man arguments. Just watch Juan Williams on Fox to see daily examples of this.
Of course Obama is THE worst case example of liberal mental intransigence. He never gives an inch.
Don’t expect the Professional LIAR for the Democraps to have any sense of logic or reason. He only parrots the utterings of B.O.!
