No point in taking on a no-win issue especially when you are not in any position to do anything about it except to commit political suicide. Trump has already said he believes in traditional marriage on national TV. He could have taken the ‘safe’ route and said something like, “well, I believe that’s an issue to be decided by the States.”
The only answer will be a full-court press in God. This can mow down strongholds and bring surprises. Perhaps all the politicians and actors we have been seeing only have bit parts in a larger divine drama, and we are wrong to talk as though we now have to judge an idol fight between our various idols.
