Stunning that there is still a great deal more to learn about the Egyptian Royals, after all this time, and documentation. The western world has been fascinated with the time of Pharoah’s and Queens for decades. Think of all the research they must have done to produce the movie, Cleopatra with Liz Taylor.

There’s also at least one undiscovered tomb in the KV, reported as a filled-in staircase in the 19th century.

Well the Egyptian civilization was a prominent “world power” from about 3,000 BC to about 300 B.C. It was some what Hellenized by the Greeks and later the Romans. But still it remained one of the great civilization. Sadly that all came to an end when the Muslims conquered Egypt around 800 AD. It’s been all down hill since then. The middle east was the jewel of the ancient world, wealthy, educated, cultured and civilized. (Constantine moved the capital of Rome to Constantinople 300 AD ish) Now look at the middle east, it’s a hell hole. Islam did that.
