I know FAR more about the Mexican people than almost everyone from leadership in this country all the way down to the common man and it's not pretty. Yes, there are a lot of good people. However, there are a huge number of them that are pathological liars, dishonest, violent and cruel. They drink too much. They have a severe issue (just like polticians) with telling the truth and are as arrogant as hell.

Most of all, the vast majority that have come up here to "el norte" did not want to study in school or did not have opportunity to study thoroughly in school in Mexico and are woefully ignorant beyond description. You just have to experience it to understand it. It actually can NOT be told in depth and a person be able to understand how bad it is.

The biggest question of all is, why has the catholic church not done a better job of instilling values in this people over whom they have had control for over 500 years? That IS the question. And, how did the U.S. function quite well for almost 200 years with a Protestant religious base until becoming overrun with this illegal catholic immigration flood? It begs debate...now, if Trump REALLY wants to stir thngs up....

Goes for the corruption as well. The average American not of "Mexican origin" cannot conceive of how virulent and pervasive it is.

It is an archaic, violent and vicious "culture", trapped in the worst corner of the 14th century.

What's really interesting is that Mexicans here know that, but other then a small minority, won't condemn it.

Tells you all you need to know about how they see us: rubes to be taken advantage of.

First off, the Mexicans invading the US are Indians. The fair no better there than the Indians in the US. I've never figured out why the Apache, Navajo, and others are not screaming at the invasion.

Second, having traveled to around 50 countries, every former Spanish colony is identical. All third world cess pools. Not sure if it is the Spanish or the combination of Catholic and Spanish. As a Catholic myself, I do not think it is the problem. We do not have that problem, the Irish do not, etc.

We should send every single Mexican home. If necessary, sieze their northern states to repatriate them to. But get them out of the US. We did not invite nor do we need a quarter of the Mexican population and their problems.

I’ve been to Mexico many times. Always the border towns. Wife and I would cross to get “staples”. We would usually find a decent restaurant, and then find a little cantina for some cold cervezas. Found one with a nice display of Cuban cigars. Not once, in all the times we’ve been there, have the people been anything but gracious and polite.
They’ve got problems, but I think the govt pushes their worst across the border. Cuba has been doing to us for years.
Build the wall, manage the border, send the criminals back. The Mexicans that run the businesses along the border want the same thing as they are being overrun by criminals. If we shut off the flow the criminal will leave that area and go to greener pastures.
