How the heck do you procure “recycled” water to fill a pool? Do they mean graywater? (”Nice bubbly brown pool ya got there!”) Or are you supposed to fill it up peeing in it? I can’t even make sense out of that remark.

Maybe dishwashers, sinks, bathtubs, washing machines, and gutters / downspouts are supposed to drain into the pool?
I similarly wondered where one was supposed to obtain the "recycled" water mentioned in the article, too.

In gardening circles, the term “graywater” has ousted “sustainable” as #1 in popular usage. I spent a few hours yesterday trying to find the answer to a simple question about southern CA gardens: what’s blooming in your garden right now? All anyone’s talking about is water.
As for pools, salt water pools are trendy these days. Pretty soon one of those solar energy fraudistos will turn into a salt water pipeline entrepreneur. :)
