"What isthe main(a) difference between kosher and halal?an important difference...Kosher never funds jihad.
One is a ritual sacrifice to glorify a false god and the other is more about what is permitted to eat, and a blessing for the consumer.

There is a host of differences. Neither camel milk, tiger meat nor shellfish are kosher, but I believe they all can be halal. Alcohol can be kosher, but not halal.
There are some similarities: Neither blood, carrion nor pork can be kosher or halal.
I’ve known a few muslims that have eaten kosher because they coudln’t find halal products.
I know kosher meat, aside from being Scripturally clean, the animal is killed in a way that minimizes its suffering.

Satan.
In kosher you bleed animals by beheading them. In halal you bleed infidels by beheading them.

19 And halal killing maximizes it. Spiritually and biologically, halal is designed to put terror into meat.
My limited information focuses on the killing of the animal. Kosher butchers are required to use extremely sharp knives to minimize the suffering. Don't know if the cut goes through the trachea first or if it targets the carotid arteries along both sides of the neck. Severing the carotid arteries renders the animal unconscious in a matter of seconds, e.g. < 5, due to loss of blood pressure to the brain.
It is interesting to think back to ~70 A.D. and the Hebrew zealots holding out against the Romans at Masada. The 10(?) Hebrew warriors drew lots to slay their countrymen instead of falling into the hands of the Romans. The thinking is that they severed the carotid arteries on the necks of their compatriots/friends/family members.
Don't know about the conditions of the Kosher butcher's slaughterhouse. I do know that in American slaughterhouses, the livestock can smell the fresh blood, and that creates anxiety in the animals. American slaughterhouses use stun guns to the head (cattle) and carbon monoxide (swine) to render the animals unconscious before killing the animal. Poultry are electrically shocked unconscious before cutting their necks.
Hopefully some Freeper can provide details of the Halal butcher. I am under the impression that minimizing pain/stress in the animal is not a concern.
Intel has been worried for quite awhile about security since a sizable amount of its design work since 2000 has been done in Israel.
My personal opinion was this is why Abu Dabi bought Global Foundries, AMD’s old fab.
