This is a great idea. Except... The affect would be useless unless you were able to get the media to cover it. How are you going to get the media to cover a protest about themselves? Somebody would have to set themselves on fire.

muslims have a way of being noticed. Perhaps there is a lesson in that?

Anyway, the media is not controlling the story as much as they pretend. HOWEVER, we do have to start making our presence felt on the big social sites like Reddit, Tumble, Twitter and the like. That’s where we can really force the media to cover these things.
It has taken a while but most people can’t be grubered anymore. I’ll go directly to the comments section before reading the article and the people are becoming informed, making the progressives look like idiots, even in the LA Times when they were arguing about polar bears yesterday.
Yikes! I don't know if the alphabet networks would cover beheadings or the stoning of rape victims in protest of their lack of coverage of such events even if it were part of a protest outside their front door.

Without reading beyond the first line, I was going to say first turn off the TV’s.
If I recall correctly, in one episode, they mentioned that 99’s name was Susan Hilton.
Easy. Tell ABC, NBC that there are going to be protests outside CBS. Have a great protest. Wait a week. Tell CBS, NBC that there are going to be protests outside ABC. Have a bigger protest. Tell ABC, CBS that there are going to be protests outside NBC. Have a bigger protest. Tell everyone that there are going to be protests outside Fox. Have the biggest protest, with ABC NBC CBS protest signs.
I see all the comments including the skepticism that my idea to have protests outside liberal media offices could work. I still maintain that until we have more than Fox News providing some semblance of truth, this country will continue its death spiral toward tyranny. So if protests outside liberal media won’t work, how DO we get their attention? Let’s keep this going until a critical mass of us can agree on at least one strategy. I for one am sick of reading all the posts of the so-called conservative intelligentsia who take great pride in their words but can’t get off their fat asses to inconvenience themselves a little bit.
I disagree. You can change the media, but it still won’t change your neighbors, family members, co-workers, government workers, entitlement-receivers, union-members, etc.
I really wish there were one simple, painless solution.
There is ‘one’, but it’s not painless (yet I advocate now for it).
You may be right that flipping a critical mass of the media won’t have the desired effect (in which case, we didn’t reach critical mass, did we?). But I see that as the last alternative to the scenario none of us wants to see. Now if we could only get off our fat asses and give it (or something) a try.
