Good luck to the kid.
Kim Richards.
Ol Kim Richards.
Guys born in the 60’s remember Kim Richards.
You wouldn’t happen to be from the City of Evil, would you?
Just asking. Don’t shoot me.
Shoot it or feed it to an alligator?
Decisions, decisions.
Celebrity tripe
ugh
Anyone stupid enough to harbor an unpredictable monster like a Pitt is too stupid to be at large.
It’s like owning a rifle that might randomly fire off a round by itself... what sort of idiot would own such a thing????
When I hear pooch, the image that comes to mind is a docile mutt. A pit, no way.
Ridiculous, and I say that in all seriousness. How serious? I had a friend who, along with her unborn baby, was killed by a pit bull.
Where was Keith Richards during all this?
Anyone care to say why they are important?
That’s the dumbest thing I have read today. The ‘pit bull’ better known as an American Straffordshire terrier is a wonderful dog. To blame a dog for its owner’s lack of understanding of the breed is irrational. As with ALL dogs (since after all German sheperds do more damage every year than do ‘pit bulls’), they must be properly trained and handled
When I was 18, I was introduced to Great Danes. Fell in love. At 20, I got a Great Dane/Rottweiler puppy. Raised it up and she was the sweetest dog in the world. Looked like a long tall lab but weighed 125 pounds. Just a sweetheart. Would not go in the water. I had a kid at 28 and she was reaching the end of her life about that time, but from day one, she was a nurse dog to that baby. He’s 18 now. At the same time, I had a Great Dane/Rhodesian Ridgeback that I had gotten as an adult. Had the two of them in a huge Oklahoma fenced back yard and they got along until they didn’t and would go at each other and I’d have to pull them apart and get them stitched up. The Ridgeback ran out the door one day and got hit by a car. Flipped over the hood, landed on the pavement, put a dent in the car, and kept running. It lost an eye to glaucoma, but lived pretty well before we had a kid. I knew I couldn’t have that dog around a baby and rehomed it to a ranch outside of Tulsa.
Had an Irish Wolfhound for a period. Got it as an adult, it would chew rocks into gravel, ate CDs, razors, eyeglasses, fiberglass insulation, squirrels. Craziest dog I ever had. That was another one that found a home before the baby.
Moved to Alaska. Adopted a six year old Pit Bull/Border Collie mix. Dog would run off bears, guarded the kids, let them pull on him, lay on him, no problem. He couldn’t be left in a house alone, he’d go crazy and break windows, tear up carpet. If he came with you in the car, to work, constantly with you, no problems. Good off-leash and on trail and with other dogs. Bit of a herder. Carried his own leash in his mouth. Had him through diabetes and old age.
Next dog, 8 year old Rottweiler/Mastiff mix. 150 pound dog, had to be on leash or would want to run down any other large dog. If the owners were cool with it and we were out on the beach, he’d get along with other dogs. Inside the house, furniture. On a leash, madness. Out in the woods, majestic. Got pancreatic cancer and went from majestic to putting him down in about two weeks at age 12.
Current dog, half Pit/half Rotweiller. No good with other dogs, by himself, smartest dog I’ve ever seen. Will tear eight foot branches off of trees and break them down into two foot long throwing sticks to bring to you. My shadow on walks, but not good around other dogs. Wants to push them off, will sort it out and not fight, but most other dogs aren’t up to it. I have to be very sure not to take him places with crowds. Inside the house, he’s constantly playing with the Jack Russell or sleeping. Best trail dog I’ve ever had.
Dogs are very complex animals and people who don’t treat them as such can get over their heads. I don’t know what the answers are, but some people should have low-maintenance dogs and people who get a dog for a perceived trait can be huge damage.
Just my story.
Man...you could this coming
She spoiled and smothered that damned dog...zero discipline....she’s such a nut job herself
Kingsley needed a firm hand ....a one owner no kids dog
Anyone who’s had guard or strong breeds could see that
