When a boy growing up sees his father, uncle, friend of the bill get taken to the cleaners in divorce court, it may make him more hesitant to seek marriage or have children.

On another note. A woman can choose to abort a child, without consent from its father. However, if she chooses to keep the child, he is on the hook for the child support, but has no realistic chance to get full custody, and have her make payments to him. What a selfish jerk. s/

And who is it that usually initiates sex, and is insistent and usually very persistent? The male. Who is it that often then wants no condom because of how it 'feels'? The male! How many times, to 'solve' the 'problem', is the baby aborted? How many times is this because the male, wanting to shirk responsibility, coerces the girl/woman into getting an abortion?

BOTH parties to a pregnancy have a RESPONSIBILITY to ensure no baby is the result. The surest, most Godly way for unmarried couple is ABSTINENCE. You don't get pregnant by just thinking about it!

Unfortunately, we have inherited the trait of seeking to shirk responsibility from our first father. Adam chose not to intervene when Satan tempted 'the woman' (not yet named Eve until AFTER the Fall), shirking his duty to protect her from the temptation. Then, in Gen 3:11-12, look at what he said when God asked, "Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” Adam's response was, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” He tried to shirk HIS responsibility for disobeying God and blaming the woman.

God designed us uniquely among all the animals, in His image. When we point the finger of blame, we should never forget that there are three fingers pointing back at us!
